Meet Emma
Emma is the owner of The Pilates & Yoga Hub, Dolphin Swim School and The Aquafit Hub. A highly experienced Pilates instructor, personal trainer and business owner, she has spent more than 20 years helping people improve their health, fitness and wellbeing. After a successful career in the City, Emma retrained to follow her passion for movement and has been teaching Pilates in the local community ever since.
Emma teaches both Mat and Reformer Pilates, supporting clients of all ages and abilities, from beginners to those recovering from injury, managing long-term conditions or looking to improve performance.
As a Level 4 Exercise Specialist in Lower Back Pain, Emma accepts referrals from GPs, osteopaths, chiropractors and physiotherapists, delivering tailored one-to-one sessions and targeted exercise programmes. She has helped many clients reduce pain, restore function and build the strength and confidence needed to prevent future back problems.
Alongside The Pilates & Yoga Hub, Emma also runs Dolphin Swim School and The Aquafit Hub, bringing her passion for health, movement and rehabilitation into the water. Across all three businesses, her focus is on creating welcoming, supportive environments where people can improve their fitness, confidence and overall wellbeing.
What is pilates
Pilates is a gentle but highly effective form of exercise that strengthens the body's core, improves posture, increases flexibility and enhances balance. Regular practice can help reduce back pain, improve muscle tone and leave you feeling stronger, more mobile and relaxed.
Mat pilates
A full-body workout suitable for beginners through to experienced participants. Classes focus on improving core strength, posture, flexibility, balance and overall wellbeing, using a variety of Pilates equipment including resistance bands and Pilates balls.
Reformer Pilates
A dynamic, low-impact workout using the Reformer machine to build strength, improve flexibility, enhance posture and develop core stability. Emma guides every movement, making the class suitable for all fitness levels.
